Eyelash extensions are synthetic silk or faux mink lashes applied directly to the natural lash. They are applied one by one to each individual eyelash carefully using the Safe Damage Free method.
Don’t worry. One of our friendly, experienced lash artists will go through the options available and advise on what will best suit you.
The lashes are applied strand by strand to your natural eyelashes using a special adhesive formulated to use around the eyes.
For Classic lashes the extensions are applied one by one to your natural eyelashes. We can enhance your natural eyelash by applying extension that are thicker and longer for a finished looks as though you are wearing amazing mascara.
For Volume lashes multiple extensions are fanned/opened and applied onto one natural eyelash, so the finished look appears full and soft.
Extensions shed with your natural lashes, and your initial application should last 3- 4 weeks before a subsequent touch-up appointment.
Aftercare and personal habits, as well as your natural eyelash growth cycle, will determine how often you will need to return for a maintenance fill. However we recommend getting a refill every 2-3 weeks to keep them looking nice and full.
Lash lifts can last 4 to 8 weeks with proper after care.
We are renowned across Perth for damage free, high quality eyelash extensions. When applied properly and correctly by a professional, extensions are completely safe and should not impact the health of your natural lashes.
Aftercare plays a very important part both in maintenance and longevity, as rubbing/tugging/pulling at the extensions can result in lash loss and damage to the natural lashes.
You can still wear make up with the lash extensions, however we don’t recommend it since it may affect the retention of the extensions. Each time you apply make up around the eyes, you would need to remove it.
Which means more friction around the eye area which may lead to poor retention or uneven extension loss along the lashline.
Yes, however, please keep in mind that you may need to pay additional costs according to your chosen style. This is because we may need to remove some lashes and apply a new lash shape.
If your refill lash is a different style from your last appointment, we recommend discussing this with your lash technician before starting the refill so we can get a better understanding of what type of look you are desiring and let you know if there are any additional costs (or time needed).
The procedure must be done while the client is immobilized and with their eyes completely closed. As long as the eyelash extensions are applied by a trained professional there are minimal risks.
Other risks may include forms of an allergic reactions. For example, some client may be allergic to the formaldehyde fumes released when the adhesive comes in contact with moisture. These fumes continue to be released for the next 24-48h until the adhesive completely sets. Some client may be allergic to other ingredients in the adhesive such as the stabilizers, thickener or the carbon black coloring.
Keep your lashes dry, make-up free, for the first 24 hours after application. lightly brush your eyelash extensions regularly to ensure they remain straight and in line with your natural lashes.
Use a foaming cleanser on your lashes everyday (We’ll show you how it’s done). We recommend our Special Lash Cleanser as this is the best for the type of glue we use.
